This is a story about the Salon de Fleurus (1992-2014) which was dedicated to assembling, preserving and exhibiting memories of early modern art. The theme of a permanent exhibit in New York was a collection assembled by Leo and Gertrude Stein in the early 20th century Paris. This was the first collection that exhibited paintings by Cezanne, Matisse and Picasso together (1905). Many years later these artists became the key characters of the modern cannon as it was presented by the Museum of Modern Art in New York in the 1930s.
