Stacion - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina is pleased to present the exhibition Red Landscape with Doruntina Kastrati, curated by Vala Osmani.

The exhibition is part of the annual exhibitions program of Stacion - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina and the first collaboration with Doruntina Kastrati.

Red Landscape is a space model, a section of specific scenery, a section of reality, a section of life, poured from outside-in to the Boxing Club, in another space model, in scenery, in another reality, which is not accidentally - almost the same. All these poured little red fragments of small parts and particles that could or did constitute part of the bigger constellation, are now here and besides having unique shapes and redness with endless depth in perspective they are also part of narration in constructing or deconstructing a reality affected by human activity.

The young artist’s commitment and persistence to understand the context, her silent presence, going beyond rules and laws, searching for the perfect, looking for a natural territory, are the beginnings of construction of the narrative, construction of the space model constituted by this massive structure and still life objects, in a net space model containing  2.5t of brick material, 31.26m2 of space area, 9.4m3 of volume, gross space model of 106.7m2 and 586.8m3 and 4 removable still life, nanny goats, goats, goats, goats, are just a preview of the hole narrative (landscape).

Whether diving into bricks, whether going over bricks, whether transpassing the bricks, let us be naïve for a moment and let this massive presence of this structure take us to our close reality. What does this brick material mean for this building? What does this building mean to this city, and, this capitol city to this country? Nanny goats will guide you, you, you, you.
