Summer School as School
5 - 21 August, 2019
Stacion - Center Contemporary Art Prishtina has the pleasure to announce "Gangbang" by Sonja Radaković, part of the Public Program of Summer School as School 2019.
Gangbang performance contains a double bed, a half-naked female artist and the audience invited to participate in the photo shoot one by one. It has an inevitable flow and it depends on the current atmosphere and situation. When first set up in 2013 the performance was used as a mocking comment on the phenomenology of social inter- actions and the ways in which reputation is gained on the art scene. Besides being a cheering up platform for guest entertaining this performance represents the non-permanent position of artist and invalid idea of it’s singularity. This performance shifts perspective from author to audience putting in the foreground the power of connecting and networking.
