Daniel Cosentino (b.1974 - NJ, USA) is a multimedia artist and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) (formerly American University in Kosovo). Cosentino makes artworks that cross boundaries between private and public space, working in genre of performance, sculpture, video, design and imaging arts (photography). In recent years Cosentino has worked with collaborators in Kosovo, Serbia, Italy, Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Switzerland, Egypt and the United States to produce several exhibitions and symposiums. In 2015 Cosentino founded ‘Community Design Prishtina’ (CDP), a venue for citizen involvement for design in the public realm in Kosovo. Cosentino holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Rutgers University and a Master of Fine Arts in Imaging Arts (Photography) from RIT.
