AFER-A

The AFER-A program is a new program developed by Stacion - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina that responds to the reality dominated by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and aims to create program interventions that help the economic revival of directly affected youth groups from the consequences of the prolongation of economic "fatigue" in the visual arts scene and civil society in Kosovo.

Stacion - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina will implement the AFER-A program through cooperation with 25 young professionals of the country identified through open calls, focusing on the country's youth and the Kosovar diaspora. The project aims to create opportunities for internships and employment at the Station - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina; involvement of young professionals from minority communities, LGBTIQ + and young women; human capacity building; vocational training; counselling, training and career guidance; and skills and mediation and intersection of youth with the art and culture scene in Kosovo. In addition, the program includes international experts and artists in program modules that directly support and assist the development of target groups, highlighting the significant impact that art and culture have on youth and as a critical component of social development.
